About Lori Wurth
My Story
I began my career in Human Resources and found myself loving the support I could provide to the most valuable resource of any organization: the people. It was in these positions in various companies that I learned to be comfortable with the gray area of handling people issues and finding creative ways to support productivity and growth in employees and supervision.
It became quite clear to me in most organizations that people at all levels need support to ensure good job fit. I created a process designed to guide individuals in identifying strengths, values, passions, and interests, which helps determine alignment with the right job and the right organization. I have helped hundreds of people through this process and have become known as “The Discovery Coach.”
Along the way, I was invited to teach and speak to various women’s groups in churches around the region. I found that I have a knack for teaching God’s word, making it relevant, interesting, and life-changing, delivered with authenticity, openness, and humor.
I am a natural teacher, creator, developer, influencer, encourager, strategist, and visionary, which serve me well in my roles as a coach, trainer, and speaker.
Fun Facts About Me
- My favorite thing is to laugh and listen to and share stories to have others join in the laughter.
- I won the lottery with my later-in-life marriage to my hubby and am a momma to a biological son and a daughter through the blessing of adoption.
- My hobbies are reading, hiking, pickleball, e-biking, and an occasional game of Yahtzee on my phone.
- My favorite Scripture to live by is Colossians 2:6 – 7: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
